Mini Lathe 80-Tooth Change Gear
Description
My mini lathe's idler bushing decided to seize up suddenly while running and munched the keyway out of one of the plastic change gears. So, I made this 3D-printable replacement based off the dimensions of the original gear (and a new bushing). It's basically a copy of this: http://lmscnc.com/1106. Many chinesium mini lathes share the same parts, so this gear should work on lots of them. Take a look at the "Used On" chart on the LMS page linked above to see if this will likely fit your lathe. I tested it on my LittleMachineShop HiTorque 5200 lathe and it works fine. Some Harbor Freight Central Machinery lathes and some Grizzly ones are listed on the chart too. Printing with a strong filament is an absolute must, and I used polycarbonate at 100% infill. I've included one model with a >PC< material marking because I've seen the material type molded into some parts like that and it looks very official. There's also a model without that.
