Handlebar accessory adapter
Description
The remote levers for my bike's dropper post and suspension were both designed for mountain bike handlebars. This adapter allows me to mount them on my drop handlebars right by the stem. I have also made a version that can mount by farther outboard or even by the brake levers, but I didn't find any position there that worked for me. Versions available are: Centered, for 31.8mm bar diameter Offset for 31.8mm bar diameter Centered for 23.8mm brake clamp diameter (suitable for road bars) As pictured, these are clamped onto the bar with hose clamps, 1/2” wide band. Unfortunately I do not remember the diameter. Maybe 1-1/4"? Because these are clamped down by the remotes, build with a high infill. The outside diameter is 22.3mm to attempt to compensate for a bit of compression while still keeping within general tolerances of the clamps. After I made these, I discovered the Lindarets Remount adapter. These is like it, but designed for 31.8 stem clamp diameter (or 23.8mm brake clamp diameter of road bikes) instead of 22.2mm brake clamp diameter, though they do fit the 22.2mm clamp of the dropper and suspension remotes.
