I use this setup now on my Ender 3's but it could be used on other machines. I have also provided a drawing with dimensions so that the actual main mount can be cut and drilled out of aluminium. This is what i did and used 100x50mm Aluminium angle i purchased from ebay for a couple of pounds. It makes for a lot stiffer mount and is pretty straightforward to do with basic tools.
