Wall mount for Alfa Tube-U Wifi antenna
Description
The holder made by WalterSKW is fine and fits the Wifi antenna nicely. I remixed it by reducing the volume by about a third and going from 4 mounting holes down to 2. For comparison I took a foto with both WalterSKWs original design and my remix side by side. My reduced holder is also very stable but takes a bit less space on the campers side and needs only 2 screws. I printed mine in PETG. To install it, you should predrill the holes in the camper with a 2 or 3mm drill and then use tapping screws with a washer each. To make it water tight you need to add some sealing mass of course. The antenna needs to be removed for driving! Thats why I designed an additional holder for the antenna to stow it while driving (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3840270).
