Designed to be used with TheZeroBeast MK3S:MMU2S Firmware here... "https://github.com/TheZeroBeast/TZB-MMU2S-Firmware/releases" If you've ever wondered why there's a tower on your MMU2S Extruder and how you're going to open the door to inspect the extruder gears then this is the mod for you. I also wondered why and redesigned the extruder to do away with the tower. To get started print your parts and prepare for assembly. Assemble as per the PRUSA manual for MK3S except for the magnets, they need to both be installed backward to reverse the force of the lever. Install PIN and check it's correct length to trip sensor when door is down and bolted. This can be done in the Support\Sensors menu with the help of a bit of filament off-cut "https://youtu.be/zUJUxnWSLZk" Top HAT is designed for M10 Passthrough Festo fittings, please ask if you'd like one for a different preferred fitting. UPDATE-20/09/2019: Pin and AMF updated. Pin tuned for hard TPU filaments. Added a longer one for those wanting to print and tune themselves (tune by shaving the end until you get solid sensor readings in printer menu) If anyone needs a hand tuning let me know. UPDATE-27-09-2019: Door M3 grub screw which allows optional adjustment. Note: Stock-PTFE tube needs to be trimmed and chamfered to fit this extruder.
