LoCoQuad
Description
This is the LoCoQuad Robot Platform. You can build it yourself... you may need some help if you are a beginner but you would get there shortly. The list of prints and the list of components is with the pictures. Find the best price for your components and start to assamble your robot. You may also need HotGlue pistol and soldering equipment. If you have a good friend that loves robots as much as you do we recomend you to build two robots so they can interact. This robot is based on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B as central core. Everything else lays from it. The code: https://github.com/TomBlackroad/LoCoQuad The platform is Open Source for Research and Education. Any comertial use of the Design, the code or both must be notified to the author. THIS WORK IS CURRENTLY BEING DEVELOPED AT UNIVERSITY OF ZARAGOZA, SPAIN. New update should come out soon. Any participation is welcome, specially the feedback from your builds. 1.- Arxiv Paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2003.09025.pdf 2.- Leg Assembly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61FAN4Pbv2I We use a TRONXY X3 at 1.75mm PLA at 0.2mm layer hight. I recomend fliping all the pices 45 degrees in order to make greater bridges. Any modern 3D printer should have no problem printing this robot.
