CR10 Display Holder for Ender 2
Description
As part of my work to make my Ender 2 more quiet, I upgraded to an SKR Mini E3 board. Unfortunately, as of early September 2019, Marlin 2 doesn't yet support the combination of the Mini E3 and the default display (despite my best efforts at updating the pin definitions, and many, many hours of hacking Marlin). So I bought a new CR10 display from eBay and designed this mount to fit it. **Required Hardware** 4x 30mm M3 screws to hold the top cover to the base You can reuse the 4 screws from the old LCD to mount the base to the existing case The existing ribbon cable can be used, though it's also a tighter fit. **Words of Warning ** This holds the display at a 50° angle, and I think is far enough away from the hotend mounting panel as to not interfere. However, I don't use my Ender 2 as a 3D printer — mine is used as a camera platform for precise camera movements. As such, I have a completely different setup where the hotend would be, which includes a BLTouch mounted to the right of where the hotend would be. So I can't guarantee that it will necessarily fit if there's any more stuff to the left of the mounting plate. though there is a fair amount of space behind the panel. Additionally, the hole tolerances are _very_ tight — this was a quick hackup one afternoon, and I've only printed once, so you might want to make larger holes or use smaller screws. As is, I had to file the holes a little to get the screws to fit. **Remixing** I've included the f3z and STEP files with this design for those who are interested. Please let me know if you find this useful!
