Module Enclosure for the Arturia MicroFreak
Description
The keyboard from the Arturia MicroFreak is detachable, which allows you to remove the sound making part of the instrument. This is a really cool way to save space, or to put a different keyboard, like the Arturia Keystep, in front of it. The only real drawback is that the the PCB exposed to the elements, like dust and air, and there isn't a solid footing for the module to rest on. That's where the module enclosure comes in to save the day. The enclosure module seals off the sides and bottom to keep dust out while also providing a large flat bottom surface with recesses for rubber feet. Since the MicroFreak is bigger than most printer's build areas, the enclosure is split up into two pieces. The pieces are held together by (x2) #8-32 3/8" bolts, (x2) #8-32 nuts, and use (x4) 12.7mm x 3mm rubber feet. In addition to the nuts and bolts, there are 8 screws that come from detaching the keyboard that are used to attach the module enclosure.
