Update 28.04.2020: planning to replace magnetic bristle holder with totally new idea, having a groove where you can install TPU printed skirt. I am experimenting it first - stay tuned for updated STLs and skirt design. I hope during may. I also will increace the air channel to increase volume of airflow. I most probably re-publish the whole design. Update 28.02.2020: Bristle shoe addded - stays in place with 6pcs 10x2mm neodymium magnets (glued with superglue) The groove for bristles is 3mm deep and 2.5mm wide. Print your own bristles with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3929569. I have noticed that I do not need more than 3/4 of the circle of bristles it to work well - so one can see the router bit. Update: 07.10.19: when using wood tools that create heavy chips, I am planning to anyhow add bristles, most probably with magnetic holder. Stay tuned for updates. Version 64 has been printed and tested, actually the suction above the tool is so strong that I decided not to add bristles at all. Instead I designed detachable airguide to enforce the suction, and closed the other led hole. Depending on the tool height there are multiple airguides available Features: - One led hole - Locking lever to change tool (rotate spindle to find lock position, then pull the lever up) - Direct suction above the tool. - Detachable AirGuide (has tight fit and stays on by attaching to the layers of the print) - Collet nut tightening works with the router's own flat wrench - Installs in 30 seconds! I have included number of different AirGuides - contact me if you want special size. V64 has more robust tightening strap, and enforced "ears" for nut and bolt The insert tube for vacuum hose is 37mm diameter and narrows down to 36mm. In my setup it stays in place just with suction, so I will not make any clamping to it. Lever bolt: 16mm M4 screw (use plastic as threads) Brace bolt: 25mm M4 with M4 Nut, with washer.
