VR headset with 5 inch HDMI display ----------------------------------- As a basic body, I have a simple VR glasses for smartphones it is cheap on ebay or from China to get used. The display is a 5 inch HDMI TFT touch display for the Raspberry Pi. This is also available on ebay or China. Printed must be the frame and the two holders for the display. The holders are fastened with M2.5x8 screws. From the VR glasses, the slot for the smartphone must be removed and the front cover removed. Then you glue left and right with hot glue the display frame. For the connections, a bushing must be sawed into the front cover before it can be replaced. Connect the whole thing with power (via micro-USB) and HDMI cable to the computer and you're ready to go. In the future it is planned to complete the VR glasses with an Arduino-based gyro-sensor.
