Griffin Pro mini and mid hard bed mounts
Description
Quick release hard bed mounts for the Griffin 3d mini and mid size printer. Print 6 of each. Remove the FSR and FSR controller, you need the glass mounted flush. This means you will also require an appropriate probe based on your model/effector. If you have a j-head use the 1.3 probe and if you have an E3d effector (2) use the probe for that. You will need to insert 4 new t-nuts into each upper rail, 2 per side. Drop-ins are the easy method however drop-ins have a tendency to come loose using this system. Bolt the plates to the upper rails one per side with the low section closest to the glass. Bolt it down using only the hole furthest from the plate, do not tighten down yet. Set the clamp on top of the hole closest to the glass, insert an o-ring into the clamp hole, now insert the bolt. The o-ring acts as a spring. Slide the assembly up to the glass, tighten the one furthest from the glass tight but only snug the clamp. You should be able to twist the clamp by hand releasing the glass but be tight enough to hold the glass down. Parts required: 6x 5mm I.d. o-rings (keycap o-rings for mechanical keyboards work) 6x M5 t-nuts 6x m5x10mm pan head or flat head bolts (these have a tapered head), I prefer hex. While tested, these are marked work in progress for lack of documentation and support. These are uploaded as Creative Commons - Attribution, you can do what you want, but give credit.
