Look Keo grip Cleat front rubber

Description

You all know the problem with the roadbike plastic cleats, that the first thing to wear out is the front little anti slip rubber part. Especially in my case commuting to work by bike also means a lot of walking and starting/ stopping. Normally the rubber part wears out after six months but the cleats itself were still fine. So I created the front rubber in CAD and printed it with TPU filament. Printed in 0.1 resulution I have found out that they last a little bit longer. To get the new rubber part on the cleat you have to flat sand the front surface where you want to glue it. You also have to sand/ roughen the surface of the printed TPU part. My best experience combine the parts was to use CA glue (Sekundenkleber). You can leave the cleats on your shoes but be cautious with the CA glue ;-) I have lost my first two anti slip parts, so take 2 minutes and really prepare your cleats before glueing it to it. Have fun with it!
