Amazon Echo Starship Desk Stand (2nd Gen)
Description
This is a made-from-scratch Amazon Echo Desk Stand modeled after the SpaceX Starship. The fins are even close to proportional to the renderings of the rocket. The base prints with supports and the Amazon Echo slides directly into the opening of the print. It is a little snug, but that prevents the echo from moving around on the stand. The nose is also printed on with supports, but I put a support blocker in the center because I didn't think it needed it. The nose is less snug and that allows for it to be easily removed if you need to access the buttons on top of the echo. The nose also has small slits around the edge so that the blue light is still able to shine through and it allows your voice to be better heard by the speakers on top. The fins took about 11 hours to print (but that time could be shortened if you decrease the supports) and the nose was about 4.5 hours. I printed mine on the Ender 3 with white PLA.
