Ring Door Camera Weather Cover

My Father in Law has a Ring door camera and was concerned about it being affected by the weather. I explained they are expected to be used outdoors and there was no need to worry. He said yes it was quite expensive and a cover would be a good idea? I explained there is no need for a cover as they are well sealed. He said it is dark grey but a silver cover would be OK? I decided to make a cover and produced V1 with a fair amount of surround. He liked it but said it must be obscuring the sound as he couldn't hear properly. I pointed out there are slots in the side near where the microphone is. He said he doesn't want it where the phone is he wants it outside on the door? I decided to make v2 with a roof but no sides.
