Filter Case for 80mm Fan
Description
This is an 80mm Fan Filter case for use with an enclosed 3D Printer. I put a small HEPA and Charcoal filter in the case and hooked the 24v fan up to the Printer's Power Supply to run it all the time. There is also a DWG file for a 5mm thick Plexiglas 'window' that fits the front of the JGAurora A4 3D Printer - if you own one. Mounted on the inside, it is a very tight friction fit on my printer, so no need for any mountings. But you should be able to use the Filter Case and Cover with just about anything. Print as oriented and it does not need supports. You will also need: 4 x m3x5 brass threaded inserts to melt into the holes of the Case 4 x m3x25 Hex Head Screws 1 x 8015 12-24v fan (depending on your printer's PWS) Orient the fan on the outside to suck air out seems to be more effective than putting the fan on the inside and pushing the air through the filters. Does it work? Is it effective at cleaning the air from the melted filament while printing? I dunno. But it makes me feel better
