Two Trees Sapphire Mount E3Dv6 and Volcano Version 5
Description
Version 1 with 5mm offset y-axis - Fan 30-40 mm Version 2 Fan 30-40 mm (can bump into top belt bearing so you have to extend x-axis stopper with 2mm) Version 3 Fan 30 mm only (+ extra z height) Version 4 Adjustable height - Not published Version 5 Fan 30 mm only + Volcano + Separate sensor mount + Adjustable height + more robust mount to plate + shorten the duct a little (2mm) for reliability not touching the model. Added small wire holders. Will easy break but it's just easy.... Here is version 5 of the mount for E3DV6. Made some modifications for it to make it more reliable. Stronger fitting to back plate prevents breaking. Separate mount for sensor for more easy printing (2parts). Adjustable hight (I got 238 mm out of Sapphire S on Z. Watch your Y is 200 mm) Ducts can be printed without support laying flat !!! on the bed. You need 2x M4 hex screw, 18mm to mount the front. To mount the hotend to the printer you need longer M4 screws to thight the sensor to. Added the Vulcano with 8.7 mm more length. I don't own one so only paper testing but assume it will work. Suggest to print it with support from the build plate as in the picture. Duct without support. For the mount disable support for Fan overhangs and add 100% infill for the mount to the printer for strength. I used a Pinda version 2 sensor m8 for it. Works great. Put it about 2mm higher as the nozzle. In advanced autolevel (second tab) of structure menu you can see if it's activated. On the lergde site you find instructions how to install the sensor.
