I Am Overhauling A Bobcat I Purchased Recently, And One Of The Issues Was The Gauges Look Like They Have Gone Ten Rounds With Tyson (Or A Grinder Or Something) The Metal Bezel Surround Is Quite Soft, So Can Be Pried Loose, However It Is Also Easy To Damage. By Using This Support Ring, The Opening Prising Is Focussed Just On The Crimped Edge, Not The Side Of The Instrument, And Closing Up Afterwards Is Also Assisted By Keeping The Face And Ring Of A Freshly Repainted Gauge Free From Damage, Whilst Holding It Firmly.
