Horus Kestrel - parts for 1808 motors
Description
I wanted to make a nice looking VTail which will weight less than 500g (it's the hard limit in Romania for drones without permit) so i found [Horus Kestrel V1 (by Horus Drones)](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3146883). I had some 1808 motors from HobbyKing (MultiStar V-Spec 1808-2400KV Racer Series) so i redesigned the arms to fit this motors when scaled at 85%. Also naturally i had to modify the body to fit the flight controller (Oversky MUL A Flight Controller also from HobbyKing). So all part (including the parts from Horus Kestrel) should be printed at 85% scaling. The body & top plate have provisions for standard 30mmx30mm or 30mmx40mm boards (flight controller & power distribution board) when printed at 85% scalling. I used ABS to print the parts at 0.2mm layer height and infill for body & plate at 25%. Total weight for printed parts was at 138g, with all the components installed at 339g and ready to flight at 483g. To join the parts i used 2mm screws & nuts. The drone will accommodate 4 inch propellers, possibly 5 inch too - but not tested Parts used in my drone: 4xMultiStar V-Spec 1808-2400KV Racer Series 1xOversky MUL A Flight Controller 4xTurnigy Multistar 32bit 12A Race Spec ESC 1xWalkera Rodeo 150 - Mini Camera 600TVL 1xTurnigy iA6C PPM/SBUS 8CH 2.4G AFHDS 2A Telemetry Receiver 1xTurnigy nano-tech 1500mah 3S 35~70C Lipo Pack
