Haptic control optical filter wheel for a standard servo
Description
This is a filter wheel for holding standard 1-inch (~25 mm) circular optical filters. It is designed to be driven by a low-cost standard Futaba/Parallax servo and should be a tight push-fit directly onto the servo. I added a magnet and Hall sensor to allow force-feedback (Haptic) control using a MicroPython PyBoard as the brains: The user can turn the wheel by hand! This was a fun "what-if" project to get a low-cost solution for an optics laboratory.
