Far from laminar flow, but it's a large volume and at the right speed (not too fast) it cools really well. Much stronger mount Quieter operation (larger duct outlet means fan doesn't work as hard moving air) What's the same: Still only requires the one OEM bolt. No new parts required! Being that it only uses one bolt, there's tilt adjustment that can allow it to get too low and scrape a print or the bed, so adjust that first. When you install it, lower your Z to 0, then tilt it so that it's in the right spot and tighten the screw down on it so it holds tight. I use this duct and fan at 40% default after first layer and then max of 80%. I bumped PLA print temp up to 205C (Hatchbox PLA) to maintain strong layer bonding. I use the silicone boot with it, helps keep strings off the hot end.
