14mm camera "Whoop Style" canopy, holds Eachine nano VTX in the top
Description
I apologize for the scrunched pictures, I guess thingiverse does not like 16:9 pictures. I modified one of my favorite "whoop" canopies that I designed to hold the Eachine Nano VTX in the top. Mount the VTX with the antenna and button facing the FC. I gave up on Caddx and switched to the Runcam Nano 2 but the screws do not go in as far on it as they do the EOS2 so I also thickened the camera mount area so it holds the Nano 2 tightly without washers or o-rings. I trimmed the "tail" off from the original to save some weight. The standard 3 hole canopy design just seemed a little wobbly so I added the fourth front mount point to the camera and that stiffened things up a lot. To get the front screw in either tip the camera up as far as it will go and screw in the screw (easiest) or screw it down then slide in the camera. The 4 hole mount weighs the same as the original canopy coming in at 1.9grams I added both the 3 hole and 4 hole model, I really prefer the 4 hole version. I printed them with: 0.1mm layer height. Infill: doesn't matter support: from build platform only Filament: TPU For best results set the print speed to 25mm/s and set the fan to 30%, you want enough air that the top turns out smooth but not so much air that there are layer issues.
