Anet A6 e3d and Titan Extruder Direct Drive with 18mm sensor (perfect fit) with flexible filament guide, full set
Description
Upgrade for https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3874858 added titan extruder (clone). Now it with Titan extruder (I am planning to use smaller motor in future). Extruder case printed mirrored, model made for 10mm bearings, just take it from original case. At filament guide leg screw must be reversed (see note at pic 4) otherwise screw's cup will touch main gear. Motor's gear screws shouldn't touch main gear check it carefully to avoid clogging and main gear damage, gasket used for this. All rest is quite clear and visible on photos. Use long screws from original extruder to fix 40mm fan duct. Bowden tube used as guide from hotend to extruder length about 63.4mm but better to check when do installation. Added calibration tool it makes tuning much easier. Settings probe offsets: X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -22 (minus!) Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -20 (minus!) I got 397 steps/mm for extruder, but better if you calibrate it on your printer. Start project from extruder case and assemble extruder in full including motor, check that all parts fit perfect without lose and not too tough. I used clone and seems like dimentions might differ and printer might add some size deviation. Filament should go straight and easy to load. Printed in PETG, 30% infill. Carriage printed with support, but better to remove support from bottom 3mm holes and holes for x-end stop holder. Use screw to make thread at holes before assembly. Be careful with middle screw for cable holder it should be short and don't brake wall to hotend holder. Use support when it needed for rest parts. Cable holder has space to get cables in easy and cups used to lock that holes. It might be necessary to adjust gasket height for perfect fit. Check gears, there are screws in low gear and that screws shouldn't touch big gear when assembled. Short video demo https://youtu.be/ZWYKmhNDPyQ
