LED dice bottom Heliox remix

LED dice bottom Heliox remix

Description

Remixed bottom part of LED dice. The thing has a power plug now. This can be used in junction with a Super Capacitor instead of LiIo cell coin battery (waste). . The design is pretty much ok. Plug and switch make a good fit. Have achieved a press tight after cleaning up the mess the slicer left over on the support area above the switch flange. The switch cap is only a little over the surface, just enough to push it the required way down. For more cube / dice things look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3954659 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3926580 The parts size differ slightly from the Heliox stock cube. The files: -modified bottom part, holding switch and power plug, connected trough a small pcb -modified raw bottom piece, no extra holes, no cut outs . Do what you want from here, take a drill or a file. Good luck. If you find it usefull anyway, even if glueing on the plug and the switch. Read the requiered parts section before you hit print! . If you can go creative with the parts you have, give it a try. Take care for the event of parts are falling off. The bottom piece: It adds a place for a rectangular switch or momentary push button. -Depending on the usecase this could be used as a power switch or replacement for the Mercury (toxic) filled motion / vibration sensor. Just pushing the dice against the table surface will trigger the switch. The switch travel is 0.6mm only. No need to shake the dice , change the rule! -With a motion sensor on the LED pcb it could have an On/Off switch. . Needed parts (electronics): - 3.5mm DC Power Jack Socket Female shaft diameter 7.4mm flange diameter 9.8mm overall length with leads 16,7mm body length 12mm - the monentary push button switch used shape rectangular: square 10mm travel 0,6mm overall hight with leads: 11.3mm body hight with cap without the positioning pins: 6.8mm body without cap without positioning pins: 6mm By chance the switch were made by France/USA based C&K, 25 years back in time. Now tey have a similar looking KS series. https://www.ckswitches.com/products/keyswitch/KS/ THE END
