Anet A6 A8 guide rod bushing

Anet A6 A8 guide rod bushing

Description

Get rid of the movement of the guide rods in the frame panels with these rod bushing. A 0.2 mm print nozzle is required to make this part! The play between the guide rods and the frame panels in which they are mounted is very large. The guide rods can move about 0.4 to 0.5 mm in the acrylic frame plates of my Anet A6. Print the bushings with a 0.2 print nozzle and use the spiral vase mode in the slicer software. This option is called "Spiralize Outer Contour" in Cura. Print with a brim for support and use PLA filament. With the scaling function of your slicher you can adjust the dimensions to fit the rod if necessary. Before install, first remove the guide rod and round the edge with sandpaper. This make insertion easier and prevent damage to the bushing. Push the bushing between the guide rod and the frame plate and remove the brim with a sharp knife. A total of 16 bushes are needed to provide all the rod connections for the Anet A6.
