Description
This Ceiling Fan / Light pull chain knob, handle, finial, fob is designed for use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain. It will also work with smaller chain as long as you use a #6 metal connector. THE COMPLETE VERSION REQUIRES SUPPORTS. I HAVE ALSO INCLUDED A LEFT/RIGHT VERSION TO PRINT WITHOUT SUPPORTS AND GLUE TOGETHER. As always, thanks to PrintYourMonsters for the great design to work with. Simple feed the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it. If using a ball chain and metal connector, you can form a loop around a keyring and hook with the other end of the connector. If you don't have a metal connector, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've included. NOTE: if you print the connector in PLA it's a tight fit. Lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain and push down until it snaps in place. You may also use string with a large knot tied in the end. I usually print things with 10% infill - HOWEVER, if used on a ceiling fan, you may want to use a higher infill for more weight. I have designed hundreds of remixes.
