Funko Pop Pegboard and Wall Mount

Funko Pop Pegboard and Wall Mount

Description

After not being able to successfully find a solution to displaying my wife's Pops I decided to take things into my own hands and make some hangers. Initially I decided to use pegboard I had on hand as I feel it offers great flexibility. They are pretty self explanatory. Mount the holders where you want them and hang the Pops... There are flat and tilted options. I found tilting the Pops back a little made it easier to keep them in place without adhesive (a bit of double sided tape) or blu-tac etc. Some will me quite a firm mount anyway as they wedge between the head and the shoulders. I made a couple of varieties of holders for Pops with hair or similar, that made it hard/impossible to mount on the flat holders. The pegboard I used is from Bunnings in Australia and seems to be fairly standard 25.4mm (inch) horizontal width. I initially made everything up quickly in TinkerCAD and had started transferring to Fusion to allow for close to full parametric designs. The 3 peg supports require supports, the curved holders for the hair might be ok without supports but for the minimal material usage and time it used I always printed with anyway. For the large display I built I mounted each holder with a little double sided tape under the middle and a dab of CA glue on the pegs. This tilted them back a little more (the first iteration used a slightly smaller angle (3 degrees vs 5 degrees). I have removed several to replace with curved mounts and I havent had any damage to the pegboard, I break in half with pliers and then twist which breaks the CA bond nicely. I have a few other design variations that I never used other than to test feasibility but if you need a specific size let me know.
