Arduino UNO Project Box with Banana Jacks
Description
This case gives your Arduino UNO project a safe space, up to 4 banana jack plugs and a snap on lid. All of these features are integrated in such a way that no tools are necessary to remove the UNO or the lid. I often used banana jacks and never had a quick way to remove the equipment, until now. When building up the wiring to the banana jacks, use the thickest wires that work for your application. Why? The thicker the wire, the more it helps secure the UNO in the case. Without them the UNO might wiggle around if you haven't secured it with something else. Another idea is to add a jumper wire that makes a loop off of the top of your top shield. The wire can be bent to just touch the lid. Again, the thicker the better. I designed this using Sketchup. I've printed it with a 3D45 and 3D20. Those files are also included in the download for this project. There is a support built into the design for the USB connector to the UNO. This is meant to be broken out after the build is done. The design has printed just fine for me without any additional supports.
