Short Sword Stock 2.0 (Rayven Stock)
Description
This is the second version of the battery stock that I designed for the Nerf Rayven. It is far more comfortable and it features 4 points that can be used to attach sling mounts to. The idea with the addition attachment points is to give people options for where to attach a sling or to be able to use a single point or 2 point sling. This is a mod for the Nerf Rayven. It is meant as a stock extension and battery tray. This has been tested on the (green version) Rayven but has not been tested on the other variants. It should work as the stocks should all be the same. The door hinge doubles as a sling point and allows for plenty of room for an addition battery. There are 4 additional sling mounts available, 2 on each side, which need to have the press in nuts installed before the stock is installed on the blaster. The battery area has a total dimension of 105 mm x 35 mm x 30 mm and can fit batteries that are within those sizes. Be sure to leave some room for the cables and XT60 connector. I have been running a TURNIGY NANO-TECH 1500MAH 3S 35~70C LIPO PACK in it with some room to spare. These parts are also available on Amazon but I do not have the links to them at the moment. I would suggest using 1-2 drops of super glue on the lock nut that is inside on the inside of the of the part "Rayven Stock_2.0 Right" that is used to secure the battery door closed. The glue will help them get an extra little grip, and will hold the nut in place when the door is open. For parts I ordered from McMaster Carr but they can be sourced elsewhere.
