Tripod feet caps for Celestron 127Mak and others...
Description
I made these for two reasons. First, to be able to set up in the house without worrying about marring the wood floor or whatever. Because I used TPU, the feet don't slide either. Second, While I was at it, I figured I'd add some holes in case I want to permanently mount the feet outside somewhere and simply be able to slip the tripod into exactly the same place time after time. I drew them up to match both the contour of the feet and the angle of the tripod. Obviously you'll need three. :p The dimple always goes to the outside. Finally, I printed mine with Cheetah TPU because it's strong, yet flexible and has a softer "feel" than other filaments. As a bonus, TPU also makes these caps a vibration dampener. It'll work with whatever filament. No supports needed. I used 10% infill.
