The Ultrasonic Tombstone
Description
This is a tombstone with eyeholes that fit an ultrasonic sensor. I used this with my pi-top [3] raspberry pi laptop to build a little Halloween display for my desk. I wired the ultrasonic sensor to the pi-top [3] PROTO+ board, then printed the tombstone on a Makerbot Replicator+. Once the tombstone was done, I popped it into the tombstone and propped it up on my desk. I modified a little bit of python code I pulled from one of the pi-top Further challenges (https://further.pi-top.com/projects/5d83982b506a26cd46b81929/) and made the ultrasonic sensor trigger some red LEDs I put in the eyes of the Makie's jack-o-lantern. The whole goal of this project was to demonstrate how you can take your pi-top Inventor's Kit and projects further by adding 3D printed parts.
