Gear for Kenwood HB723 or HDP 408WH blender
Description
A small gear broke inside the blender Kenwood HB723 blender. I designed a replacement and printed in PETG. Already tested already for several weeks. Here you can see a video: https://youtu.be/hD8TeM7rfVg I assume that it is the same design used for the newer HDP 408WH. To open the blender top part you need a flat screwdriver and some brute force. Unfortunatly both parts are glued or melted at some points together. To assemble it I used a Dremel and PLA to fuse the two parts together at a few points. (Epoxy glue failed) Upadte 5 month later: After 5 months it finally failed when my wife was mixing some grains. Interesting how it failed: I expected that theeth would have been broken. But actually they where perfect. Apparently the gear got to hot at the shaft. Then melted and glued onto the shaft. I printed a new one with a 0.1mm lager hole and a spacer to avoid friction with the rough plate. Added some grease to reduce the fricton. Lets see how long it will last.
