Gundam 1/100 Astraea Shields
Description
I originally put a lot of effort into deigning this but the only thing that's holding me back are the shield arm joints. The ball and socket are great and tight for several days with priming but it will eventually wear out and become loose. I also tried it using a hinge method but it was worse with too many moving parts. I used a variety of flex mix percentage from 0% - 50% but still became loose over time and I just gave up. I eventually just found a decent position and glued them permanently in place. This was designed with a resin printer in mind so if you have a fdm printer, you might have to do a lot of sanding. If you would like to support me in uploading free designs, please support me buy buying the files for just $1 on my Etsy page. I also have a lot of other designs from different series. https://www.etsy.com/shop/GUNPLA3d?ref=seller-platform-mcnav There is also a group on Facebook just for 3d printing for gunpla. I highly recommend you to join if you are interested. It's called 3d Printed Gunpla.
