Raspberry Pi Microscope (Remix of BraunsCNC's designs)

Raspberry Pi Microscope (Remix of BraunsCNC's designs)

Description

I enjoyed this awesome design from [BraunsCNC](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3920261) but I wanted to make some modifications. ###Brass Inserts I made the models for 3 mm brass inserts which allow for a nice look overall. I added some retention to the system to ensure that one of the mounts does not fall off and onto the stage. Here is the link for the brass inserts that I used (no affiliation): Heres the link for the brass inserts I planned the microscope remix on: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y20YLKY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ###Camera Mount Holder The camera mount has been adjusted to fit a Raspberry Pi camera ver 2.1 and allows room for the component to fit well into the grooves. So far, I have not tested it with a [NoIR camera](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WP53K7/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2E7RYXKRFD586) since I don't have one but would be interested to hear feedback. Looking at the link provided, it seems like it would fit with my redesigned camera mount holder. ###Raspberry Pi 4 Bracket I added a bracket to allow you to either use a Raspberry Pi zero or a Raspberry Pi 4. I am still playing around with the bracket but it has worked so far on my testing. The bracket can be attached using ~ 6 mm screws. The "spacers" from BraunsCNC's original design are optional if using this bracket. There are 4 spots on the back of the large mount that will allow you to place the Raspberry Pi 4 mount on the back if desired. ###Base The base (microscope stage) was modified to allow for a lip around the opening for the 12mm linear rod. ##BOM Print 1 of each item except the knob. Print 2 knobs. You can support my designs and future work by tipping or buying me a coffee: [Buy me a coffee](https://www.paypal.me/bram109) Thanks, Enjoy! :) #Updates 5-2-2020: I updated the knob and made a newer version originally for my other 3D printer and think it will work well for this project. So far it is holding on the bolt better and has more torque. Check it out: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4331966
