Go Gopher

Go Gopher

Description

# Go Gopher Original design by Renée French. Vector files can be found at https://github.com/golang-samples/gopher-vector I designed this model to print it on my Ender 2 using only manual filament juggling. There is a "strut" in every model that allows loading them in Slic3r at proper height. Scale down, perhaps to 25%. - grey.stl is the base, light grey - blue.stl is the body - yellow.stl are the paws and the cheeks - white.stl are the teeth and the whites of the eyes - black.stl are the contours and all the black bits Set it up in Slic3r as if you had multiple extruders (see screenshot). In the exported gcode you'll see T lines that change the material. E.g. if you set up grey == extuder 1, T0 will mean a switch to grey plastic. Add M600 command after each T command and change the plastics. You should only have to load each colour once. *Important* if you use OctoPi, make sure that M600 is in the list of long-running commands and that the amount of retries for long running commands is set to some exorbitant number (the default is 5 which makes up for only 2.5 minutes). Otherwise OctoPi will think that your printer died while you're purging colours.
