AXA Window Handle Replacement
Description
This is a replacement window handle for an early 1990's vintage AXA casement window, model unknown. The original became brittle and broke. UV embrittlement? To install this, I had to drill out the original rivet pin holding the handle in place. You'll need to drill the rivet hole in the aluminum handle to 5.5mm (I used a 0.228" drill) to accommodate the snap-fit pins for the new part. Print two pins and one handle. There really isn't a perfect print orientation, you may need to use supports. The pins are designed to snap into place. I used a large slip-joint pliers to snap them in all the way and secure the new handle. I included .3mf, .stl, and Solidworks .prt files for remixing.
