5mm LED front plate holder series
Description
For a particular project I needed a bunch of indicator LED with caps/mounts. See the green frog eyes. Huh! Some poeple are rushing in quickly. Here you are. Have fun. This thing has the through the hole cap/holder thing and a corresponding nut. The thread size and pitch does not meet any regular I know of. The plate thickness is round about 1.5-2mm for the 20mm parts. No more. It does not hold the LED tight, done by wiring this time. - LED cap diameter: 20mm / 13mm. - front panel hole diameter: 12.5-13mm / 9mm 13mm cap V2 has 3 Versions, with different LED positions - LED goes through halfway opened hole, looks 0.5mm out of the hole - ca. LED 1mm away from the top (small lit area) - ca. LED 4mm away from the top (wider lit area) Updates: -Uploaded the fixed V2-2 13mm parts -If you have dl the V2 13mm files, before GMT 01:00, the files must be flipped. Otherwise lefthanded thread. -added the smaller V2 version with 13mm cap, -longer shaft and slightly smaller holes, -mount hole diameter 9mm -added the corresponding nutV2 (can not be used with the 20mm holder) . The visual apereance depends much on: - brightness of the LED - radiation angle (wide angle recommended) - dampening by dense of the filament - positioning (focus) . The prints are made using 0.15mm layer hight. The print orientation is upright. Support material required. . The pictures show the glow depending on the distance of the LED from the cap top.
