Arduino Uno and L298N Lego Car Chassis

Arduino Uno and L298N Lego Car Chassis

Description

We have a number of obsolete as well as new Lego motors, kits and a large number of blocks and accessories. I made a few Lego compatible chassis. You can mount the motors, and an Arduino Uno and a L298N to drive the motors (You can also use a motor shield instead of L298N). I designed these simple chassis for our upcoming DIY Robotics / Coding unit. The main version has housings for 2 old Lego motors (Front wheel drive), servo motor/ultrasonic sensor, a Lego 6 AA battery holder, a place to attach a small Lego wheel from the bottom. This version is very easy to assemble by the students. Also, supports have been added to the new version to strengthen the chassis (prevent warping) and protect the electronics during crashes. I also designed a simplified version that only houses 2 motors and a battery holder. This is for primary students to assemble and play with. I also designed an adapter to accommodate M motors. I hope you'll find them useful. Here are 3 videos showing the components, a test run and an overview: https://youtu.be/ufDnBe2nXjg https://youtu.be/1LvGp-FGMg4 https://youtu.be/3tK_USAquBw
