brock 2020 Tool Holder for 30x40 CNC Laser Engraver
Description
This is a holder for the DIY laser cnc/engraver sold out of china as the "30x40 CNC Laser Engraver". It is an excellent hobby tool but needs a lot of upgrades. This part is not an upgrade but simply a convenience part to help keep the tools that come with it at hand. This snaps onto the 202 rail and allows you to keep the tools at the front of the machine so they are handy at all times and more importantly not lost. The part snaps onto the 2020 railing with a modest amount of force and can be snapped off also. Will slide along rail once attached with a little force. The wrench is friction fit into the holder. You may not recognize the front legs when compared to your own machine. The original legs were cut from acrylic. I printed new legs with locating posts to make the projects more repeatable. System works well and seems to solve the problem of the wire management. I have also designed and implemented cable chains for the y-axis motors. Link below.
