Wall Mount for FriendlyARM NanoPi M4
Description
Here’s a simple wall mount for FriendlyARM’s awesome [NanoPi M4 Single Board Computer](https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=234). It requires the matching, massive [M4 heat sink](https://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=235), to which you have to add 4 pcs. of metric 4x16 Panhead screws. 16 mm is the minimum screw length for proper airflow, if you intend to add a fan, simply make room by using longer screws. If you use passive cooling, I'd suggest to mount it vertically as shown in my pictures, so the warm air can rise upwards along the ribs and doesn’t get „stuck“. The plate has two screwholes for wall mounting, which accept both 3.5 and 4 mm wide screws with countersunk head. When using 4 mm screws on a proper underground/dowel, a single screw in the upper hole will do the job. Place on print bed with wall side facing up, computer side facing down. Thanks for tipping! :)
