box for Signal Geneartor XR2206
Description
The very cheap and educational signal generator XR2206, comes with a nice plexiglass box and a connector for a 9V external power supply. Here we replaced the plug with a connector for a 9V battery and built a case to house both the printed circuit and the battery. Note: you'll need some extra part - 4 M3x20mm screws (head diameter <6mm, head thickness <2mm, the screws coming with the plexiglass mount are fine) - Connector for 9V battery. - Mini switch (as we do not want ot leave the device permanently plugged to the battery. - Optional 1 led and matching resistor (I used 4.7kOhm and 5mm Green Led air mounted between the input to the circuit board. Absorption about 1.5mA).
