55mm 13 Pin Mechanical Steampunk Iris
Description
Will update with a make. Long pins and extended bezel are for a 2mm acrylic lens (model provided) that will have to be cut in addition to the print. The pins that are attached the fins are designed to lock in the tracks in the nut, and the press-through pins should be installable without glue and click past the outside of the bezel ring by 0.2mm. I would recommend sliding each fin onto the track through the center of the nut, then placing the whole nut with all of the fins onto the bezel in the 'open' position. it should be possible to press each fin into the bezel once everything is aligned. Minor sanding may or may not be required. Boiling the bezel for 30 seconds or so (after the nut is fully assembled) should help to push the pins through.
