Duet Maestro Enclosure with Wire Storage (Quad Fusion Ready)
Description
The remix of this enclosure will fit most 2040 aluminum frame 3D printers and is Quad Fusion ready. Will also fit most current Duet boards. This version of the Duet enclosure has a storage area for extra wiring so you can keep it out of the main board area. This comes with 2 lids. One regular flat lid and one lid that will still fit once the expansion board for the Quad Fusion is plugged in. The Quad Fusion Ready lid will use a lot of support filament during printing however you can flip it over if desired to reduce the amount of support used during the print. Both lids will slide on the enclosure and has ample room for wire management. This model includes wire a wire plug that inserts into the wire storage area. You can create your own plug that suits the wire size/loom you are using. I created the plug separately so you don't have to reprint the entire enclosure. you only need to design/reprint the plug. I used a standard black wire loom from Home Depot. Hardware used to mount to printer. 4 - M4-0.70 x 8mm 4 - M4 T-Slot Nuts Hardware to mount board to enclosure. 4 - M4-0.70 Nylon Lock Nuts (Used these so they don't come loose during a print.) 4 - M4-0.70 x 16mm I purchased all hardware at the local Home Depot.
