Prusa MK3 LED Bar Holder Side
Description
This is a LED bar holder for the PRUSA MK3. The idea is that you mount the bracket on the motors for the Z-axis. The idea is to have light at the same height as the nozzle in order to see the first layer properly. I seen loads of design that light up the printer from above but i dont think this is the best solution since you will cast a shadow on the print head. I have printed this and it works great, the idea of having a circular nob that the upper part attaches to in order to be able to rotate the light if you would like to do so. I printed two of these one for each motor mount Scale to 10% - very important, the objects will be to go big otherwise. Scale both to 10% and you should be able to go. Print in PLA/ABS/PETG what ever you have at hand. I have only printed it with PLA with great sucess. I will post pictures of the complete setup once my LED arrive
