Minecraft Greek Temple
Description
The aim of this small project is to create a plausible greek temple in a right scale in Minecraft adapting the classical cannons to the huge limitation that the game give. This temple is inspired by Phidias' Parthenon but it's way different from it. The column of this model are a bit taller and the plan is quite different from the original, expecially in the opisthodomos, but in my opinion the feeling is the right one and anyway it's suitable the realization in Minecraft. I've uploaded different models. If you want to print the simplest one go for the 1 because you will be able to see the inside of the temple trought two holes in the base. I've thought that a two pieces model, with a detouchable roof to see the inside, would be great. Print the 2 and 3 if you whant this solution. If you like a small diorama with some terrain, an external altar and some trees you can print 3 and 4. In the models a single minecraft block is 1mm. I've printed my temple at 150% so 1,5 mm/block and the result is nice and supports are needed only for the trees. I supose 200% would work with no supports too, but I've not tryed. I've found that the "inclusive" slicing tollerance of Cura gave a perfect result helping to marge geometries that are connected only by the edges.
