3.00 x 1.925 Drift Sleeve 002 for Traxxas Rustler 2x4 and 4x4 Trucks
Description
Here is a drift sleeve for the rims I have designed for my and my son's Traxxas Rustlers. I'll have to find the model for the "Swirl Rim" shown in the pics. I print these in TPU with 4 perimeters and 6 layers top and bottom with triangle infill because it seems gyroid infill and TPU don't necessarily get along well. I use thick superglue to glue the sleeves to the rims. I run a bead down between the rim and sleeve about 1/4" down on each side, which covers most of the bonding surface between them. I just shove the tapered tip of the glue bottle in there and squeeze and run it around, then make sure the rim and sleeve are lined up and wipe the excess off with a paper towel.
