Print Head Strain Relief Mount for JGAURORA A3S or A5 Wiring Harness Tube

Description

I made the shape more organic using Blender to use less filament and reduce sharp edges. There is now a dent around the top of the thick part, to help the plastic wiring conduit to stay on (you still need a zip tie). The top part now tapers and becomes very thin, so that certain plastics will flex, absorbing more strain than if the neck were entirely rigid. This requires replacing the (2) screws with 2mm x 8mm screws (ACKET shows a photo in the comments of his version where the screw measures 8.38 including head). However, acket's photos of the installed item shows a flat plate on top, so the screw recesses in the model are not used in his case. Using the recesses, both versions add exactly 2mm. ## Differences from ACKET's Version - moved body down by 2.5mm to save plastic (screw head recesses are now .5mm instead of 3mm) (without affecting the total height) - re-sculpted body - made neck narrow for flexible or somewhat-flexible filaments - See also "Changelog." > This model You can install on the print head very simply, without dismantling. It is only necessary to unscrew the two bolts securing the restraining plate, pick up 2 new, longer screws and install everything in place. The tube holder is very reliable and rigid, unlike the others that are presented here. I recommend this part for manufacturing to all owners of this printer. > I has make it from SBS plastic with 25% infill, 80mm/s, layer 0,2mm, head 250C, bed 80C, cooling 50%, without rafts and supports -ACKET ## License - [Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/) (CC BY-NC 3.0) - by Poikilos and ACKET - based on [JGAURORA A5 print head tube holder by ACKET - Thingiverse](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2871850)
