flicker candle standoff
Description
This is a stand for a small "flicker" candle, for fitting it in a lantern for outdoor use. It's meant to keep the candle from sitting in water that collects in the lantern when it rains, where it can wick up into the switch and batteries. On my particular lantern there's a cup in the bottom for holding a real candle, which tends to gather water; this covers that as well. I've included the Sketchup (8) source file as well, to allow modifying for particular candles and lanterns. To avoid standoffs, the base is printed separately from the standoffs, then glued together with a bit of super glue.
