Description
This is a device for holding a thin glass tube when you need to take a blood sample using finger prick method. ( CT 095 Combo Blood Tubes ). If you are on your own it can be difficult to hold the glass tube at the same time as you try to squeeze a drop of blood out of your finger. This device was made for just that. You place the fragile glass straw/tube into device and set to desired angle and you got both hands free. It was designed so you can fold it up and put away in your pocket or bag. It can be held down steady on a table by a book etc. if needed. This device is easy to take with you anywhere. Not many people need to do this but if you do or know someone who does then maybe this can be of help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Print Part A with flat bottom down and no support or raft. Print Part B with flat round section down and no support or raft. Part B is just pressed/pushed into part A so dimples sits in hollow section. Depending on you printer it may be a tight/loose fit. If hole for tube is tight open up with small drill. I make my own printers but use a standard 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. Parts are printed in PLA any colour.
