Dual Ball Bearing Universal Cone Filament Spool Holder. After having some Issue with my 3D Printed Spool Holder ive decided to design a Quick Change Dual Ball Bearing Spool Holder. This design is made to fit With Kurioso https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2647030 Spool Bracket. Thanks to Him of his Design. Material Needed. PLA Filament 4 x 608ZZ bearings ( Very cheap on Amazon ) 22mmx8mmx7mm 1x 5/16-18 Threaded Rod 2x 5/16-18 Nuts. I recommend a Good 80 to 100% infill ZigZag for a good Strength The cones can be printed at 0.3mm layer height for a better '' Cone to spool Grip '' Supports has to be enabled for both parts. Ive printed 5 sets and i leave them installed onto my favorite spools of filament. Takes 5 seconds to swap spools. You just have to Slide it over the Bracket and Voila !. No more spool jumping or irregular behavior of the way your spool is turning around the support.
