Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1 / Monoprice Maker Select Bowden Kit (for bondtech mini or other bowden extruders)

Description

I have modified (remixed) the bowden mount that goes at the hotend so that the heatsink and fan can be moved to the other side to make the total width not much wider than the metal bracket. This keeps the head very compact. I have also designed a bracket that follows the Z axis much like the Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro. This setup allows for a shorter bowden tube which allows for less needed retraction. I run 2mm at 40mm/s. Removing the weight from the print head allows for faster printing with less ringing. The cloned bondtech mini can be purchased on AliExpress for around $21 USD. This increases the grip on the filament but also allows you to get more torque out of your extruder by increasing the steps per millimeter. I have designed the extruder bracket with some different hole pairs for various mounting options. I am using 2 of the short m3 screws pulled from elsewhere on my printer to mount to 2 of the holes where the cable chain was mounted on the X-end. The screws get removed for the cable chains and they chains get relocated to top of the new printed mount. (easiest if you mount the motor and extruder on first, then re-attach the cable chains. Parts needed: 12+ inches of bowden tube 1x M6 4mm Ptfe Fitting 2x M3x5 screws if you don't have any from other parts of the printer. 2x M3 nuts to use with the long screws for the heatsink. Let me know what you think!
